What do you most like to do when you are not working?

My main interest is photography and I have built up a good number of followers on Instagram (@jill_hackland). I am literally always taking pictures! I love DIY especially painting, I always have some sort of home improvement project on the go. I also enjoy keeping fit especially walking and lifting weights to de-stress.

No matter how you feel… Get up. Dress up. Show up… and Never Give Up.

What’s one of your favourite memories?

Going to a caravan in Fife as a child…. it’s still one of my favourite areas to visit.

What’s one thing about you that surprises people?

I love anything to do with gardening and could probably name any plant, tree or flower!

Accept change… nothing is forever. Have no regrets.

What makes you really happy?

Simple pleasures... spending time with family, going to the sea side, cooking, taking photographs and catching up with friends.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Chocolate... and having a secret stash which I hide from everyone else in the house... Sshhhh...

What are you most grateful for?

My family, health and being involved in a career that I enjoy.
