Design + Project Management

We have particular strengths working in the capacity of Project Managers, Design Managers and Technical Advisors on complex procurements and the delivery of specific projects.


With this and our wider collaborations, we are able to offer a fully comprehensive service which integrates the design, management and delivery of projects with the service, financial and asset planning of all key aspects of public sector portfolios. This currently includes the integration of Highland Council Care Home facilities with NHS Highland property.


Core Associates services can be provided either at a strategic review level or through individual projects as part of an overall programme plan and from inception to completion due to a high level of experience in project management across a variety of procurement streams and building types.


Our current and most recent management projects are:


  • RDHealth / NG Bailey — Core associates worked on the Aberdeen Royal Hospital Reconfiguration Project or ARP as Project Manager. The project awarded under Frameworks Scotland delivers £21 million of backlog maintenance (BLM) in a cost effective and efficient manner. The form of contract is NEC 3.


  • Core Associates set out the roadmap for the Stage 3 element of the project including all surveys of the existing facilities, capture method for NHS Grampian's developed brief requirements arising from surveys and working groups and a Technical gateway to ensure that the requirements of the brief are fully documented and agreed  prior to embarking on Stage 3 detailed design
